Mark Dodd continued to make up for time lost threw injury by running his fourth race in nine days. The race this time was Great Warford 10 Mile road race, this is one of the tougher races on the ten-mile circuit but it did not stop the clubs race machine finishing in 18th place and posting a very respectable time of 66:23.
The winner was Wilmslow Running Club member Mike Halman with a time of 56:00. The Women's race was won by Christine Howard from Matlock AC Club with a time of 67:43.
Bramhall Park 5k
Chris Marshall and Mark Dodd once again made the trip to Bramhall Park, Stockport to take part in Bramhall Park 5k, this is a free weekly race to enter and is used by many as a training opportunity. Mark Dodd was first home in eighth place with exactly the same time as last week of 18:44, in close pursuit and rapidly improving was Chris Marshall who knocked 37 sec of his time to record a course PB of 19:19.
The winner was Steve Vernon with a time of 14:55, with the women's race won by Stockport harrier’s member Sarah Aylmer with a time of 20:13.
