On April 14th, Southport Waterloo AC hosted their annual Good Friday races.  On an anfractuous course in and around the grounds of Victoria Park, Southport, Chris Marshall, who is now putting his injury woes behind him and is starting to regain his form, finished the 4 mile men’s race in a respectable time of 24:43 (78th).  First place went to local Southport Waterloo AC runner Rob Berry in a fast 19:29.

Easter Sunday 16th saw four Ellesmere Port Runners tackle the Air Products 5k and 10k races in Crewe.  Karen Hyland is another runner making a come back and she completed the undulating one lap 5k course in a solid time of 32:45 placing 95th. 

First home for EPRC on the two lap 10k course was Chris Marshall in 39:17 (39th). Running in his second race in 3 days, Chris managed to average 06:19 per mile on an undulating course.

Not far behind, was John Jennings with a good performance and a time of 43:33 (90th).  

Les Fleetwood finishing strongly ran 45:38 to finish in 114th position.
