John Stone broke his own personal best and Ellesmere Port Running Club’s all-time marathon and Senior Men’s records on Sunday 28th of April 2019, with a stunning display at the Virgin Money London Marathon.
Johns previous 2015 VMLM PB record of 2:46:46, has been broken with a time of 2:40:26 and supersedes David Sargents club record, set in 2005 at 2:42:45.
